Amiga - RCA tablet

June is Amiga Month!
[Can't keep a good computer down!]

June of 2017 was the month I embarked upon using the Amiga as my main computer, the following is a blog I had created to document it.

Why? Why would I do this?

  • Growing frustrated with social media.

  • Growing frustrated with myself, and my needless attachment to Internet Drama.

  • I want to spruce up my computing experience (sound cheesy, I know)

  • It is basically a time machine, I get to travel into the past..
sure I will have all of the modern conveniences at home, flat screen TV, my roKu, and so on..
but most of my time is spent on my computer. This really will be like a time machine.

I can browse the Internet, wirelessly on my Amiga, I can visit a plethora of websites, I have more than enough games to keep me entertained, I like the techno-challenge too. Trying to find ways to make my ancient computer work on modern infrastructure is always a test of patience, but the reward of accomplishing it is always worth it. I love figuring out how things work.

Unfortunately for me, Neocities does not support FTP as far as I am aware. So, unfortunately, to upload my files to the website I will require use of my computer, although I may be able to bypass this if I find a way to transfer files to my phone, and then upload to Neocites. To be honest I have not even logged into Neocities using my phone, so I am unsure if that is possible to begin with. Regardless, I do plan on keeping some updates to this webpage, originally I thought about putting it all on blogger, but what is the fun of doing it that way? I'm going old school, so I may as well stick with the older personal homepage them.

I have so much to do, and look forward to this all.
