[Flying Toasters]

Anyone remember the Flying Toasters screensaver for Windows 3.11? It was also made for the Amiga, I have it set to my default blanker. I would love to get the haunted house one though, the maze one for Windows 95 was fun, and of course the fishtank. I'm sure I could find one somewhere online. Garshneblanker is the program I use for a screensaver, it is from there that the blankers are loaded.

This picture was taken from my phone, thus the lousy image quality. I tried to spruce it up a bit, by filling in all of the background, which due to my monitor, and sunlight, came out all shades of black you can imagine.

[Flying Toasters]
Crazy Cars III, one of my favourite Amiga games - the graphics are not on par with other racer games, such as Lotus 3, but I can't seem to get Lotus 3 running correctly through WHDLoad.

[StarMaster Joystick]

This is my favorite Joystick, a StarMaster. Here you can see my mad editing skills, yo. It is a really basic joystick, I took it apart a few weeks ago and there is nothing more to it than a few tracers, and little metal plates that connect them when force is applied to the joystick. It is a very basic setup, that works surprising well, and I like that it has few parts in it that could wear out over time.

I also use a sega genesis gamepad, a TAC-2 joystick, and I have a couple of Atari 2600 controllers but haven't tried them yet.

If you can't tell, I've been trying my hand at modifying pictures. The above looks horrible, unfortunately, but for now it is the best I can do. I've been thinking of ways of getting a screen capture device, but so far as I have researched, they all involve using a PC to capture images through the VGA scandoubler I use, in essence it would run in the middle between my Amiga and monitor, and I think that would defeat the purpose of Amiga Month. If I were to do that, I might as well just use WinUAE and save money in the process.

I've frequented this topic a lot in the past, if there were one thing that bothers me it is being unable to capture images of games - this is a gaming machine, and not having that capability really cuts back on what I can write about.

Enough of the ranting though, if need be I'll just download images and use them, it sort of feels like cheating, but, eh, oh well. It is what I did yesterday for the Darkmere pictures.
